“It’s the not-too-distant future. A giant explosion has taken place releasing a toxin in the air that’s wiping out the planet’s population. Your father, a renowned scientist, locked you and your friends inside his bio-hazard safe basement in order to survive. You stumble upon a message basically detailing that your grandfather was the lead scientist on the project that created this apocalyptic attack. Your father, stricken with guilt that he may be related to the man who caused all this destruction, developed a time machine to go back to when it all started. Before he had a chance to fix everything, he became victim to the toxin. Now you and your friends are the world’s last chance. You only have a 60-minute window to find your way back through time and change the past to save the future! Available to play as both a remote play room (the games master is in the actual room) and as a hybrid live game (using a live host and pre-recorded video). You can choose the type when you book. The reviews below are mainly for the pre-recorded version.” — read moreThis is a unique time travel experience where you have to figure out how to go back in time and change something in the past so you can prevent a disaster in the future!

I was skeptical about the experience via livestream, but it was SO FUN! The Gamemaster did a great job walking my family through the rooms, and once we got the hang of it, it was very easy to walk through the puzzles. It was a very clever room and we had to use different skill sets from our whole party to solve the puzzle.
We're excited to play another game again later!
I cannot say enough about how great the management was. I called and was trying to book a room for a last-day-of-classes surprise, but it was a lot of kids and I thought they might want to do two rooms. Charles was so flexible letting us play it by ear. The kids ended up doing two rooms with five in each, this one and the CIA experience, and had a great time. Highly, highly recommend!
During quarantine we did the Timeline room which was the third virtual room I have done. I will say that it’s a bit different than just having your host walk around executing your moves, this one had pre taped “win” solutions for every puzzle that would play when you solved a puzzle, when we instructed our host to do something that would fail, we would quickly get feedback and yearn for the success videos. There are a lot of puzzles in this room and challenging enough to get through the one hour. We had 21 seconds left, and that’s with the pre taped win videos actually not counting against your time. The overall experience was fun, was interactive, was organized well, and a great way to spend some time with friends and family over a fun hour. I would recommend this to anyone who misses doing live escape rooms. Oh and Savannah, our host, was very sweet and courteous!
This was my second "lockbox" escape room, and my third video escape room format. Lockbox has a winning strategy for how they've implemented technology to make playing from a distance not feel like a poor alternative. This room in particular was very fun, and the game master did an outstanding job!
This was a blast definitely had a lot of fun doing this with my friends. don't want to spoil anything but get ready for a nostalgia bomb 😁
