It is the summer of 1988.  A few years ago world famous (and eccentric) archaeologist Joseph Hardin mysteriously vanished from his house.  It was all over the news.  Now your high school classmate and her grandfather have disappeared from that same location.  Your job is to enter the property and find them--despite the reports of strange lights seen at night, and odd noises heard from the attic.  Despite the fact that other kids cross the street to avoid the place.  Despite the fact that Hardin vanished into thin air, even leaving his dog behind.  And not only do you have to solve the town's greatest mystery; you have to do it by dinner time.  (It's a school night after all.)
The Hardin House Mystery is a completely original game developed for Red Lantern Escape Rooms.  Your host for the experience will the game's creator, who is also the author of multiple young adult novels.
