We had a very good time in their Avatar Game. Jayson is a great host and you should not miss this special Event. Greetz from Germany
The room had great flow and Jayson, the game master, roleplayed a character which really brought the experience to life. I've done 150+ IRL escapes, and 10 or so online, and this would gladly receive my endorsement at the top of the list for remote games.
I played this with a new team and it was a lot of fun. The host did an amazing job with his villain's henchman character, and it worked amazingly well despite being remote. I enjoyed it more than most escape rooms even, the host + digital inventory system they had was excellent.
Definitely recommend this for teams and corporate events!
This was a great family friendly room with engaging plot and puzzles. Pacing and set design were excellent. Range of difficulties, overall medium difficulty. Fun adaptations to the virtual medium.
Great story line, fun puzzles, the host definitely made the whole experience fantastic! Would strongly recommend this game 5stars!
Well designed room with lots of cool tech. Fantastic avatar, in character (including voice) all game. The avatar was efficient and perfectly balanced the line with doing what we wanted without hindering or accidentally helping!
The Game Master made this experience so fun! He was extremely committed to his character totally immersing us in the scenario, didn't give away answers, followed our directions, and was hilarious. The puzzles were challenging, dynamic, and required different skillsets. We did this with 4 people on 2 connections and (to us) that was plenty. Had a great time, highly recommend Villains Lair!
I would definitely recommend this room. A worthy experience.
Jayson was super excited and in character the entire time! I love that he was actually in the room and it wasn't just a virtual screen. It was way better than I expected. We had a great time!
Clean puzzle flow, well-adapted to online play, and an A+ performance by the game master. Would solidly recommend!
My crew played this escape room virtually and had a blast! The inclusion of multiple 360-degree photos of the physical escape room along with a multitude of clues and puzzles that showed up in our web browser for closer inspection as we 'discovered' them throughout the game made for an engaging experience like no other.
I would one hundred percent recommend!
I don't typically like escape rooms, but this virtual one with my team was really great. We all enjoyed it and had an amazing time. The host was wonderful and I absolutely loved his character and commentaries. :)
Did a virtual version of this as part of a team event and it was SO MUCH FUN! The villain character host was so entertaining! The room was really amazing and there were lots of cool puzzles which took a little time to figure out. Highly recommend!
A fun room. Excellent items and room management system and cool 1st person view camera. Also, if you have extra time, I hear the camera man is an amazing dancer. Well worth losing a little time imho
We have a group that has done about 4 escape rooms all together before the pandemic, and now live in different states. We were looking to try an online remote escape room together, and Fuzzy Logic delivered a truly delightful experience! Jayson was an absolutely incredible host. We often had him read us game clues that we were going to read ourselves just because it was more fun. He had great energy and a great character. The tech setup was top-notch. We would mostly watch through Jayson's video, but we had a Trello board that was being auto-updated as we got new clues and no longer needed old ones. In some ways, this detailed inventory was an improvement on the in-person experience. It allowed us to easily keep track of what we still needed to solve. There was one puzzle we couldn't complete online, but they cleverly converted it into a new puzzle that really only works online.
Plus these co-owners are truly great and caring small business owners. We had a wonderful experience, and highly recommend it!
We had a great online experience with this escape room and Jayson was an amazing host with great roleplay and energy. It's obvious that the owners really care about the room and the experience and have catered it well to the online space. I really liked the setup and the way clues were presented. I would highly recommend it.
I did Villains Lair as a corporate team building event and it was great! Our host was extremely committed to his character which made the event very immersive. Their inventory management system worked well so it was possible to keep track of all the items without physically being in the room. They also had multiple camera angles. This is my first virtual escape room of this format but they set the bar very high. For the video conference aspect, they use Zoom by default but were able to support our request to use the video conference system required by our company, which was super helpful.
The game was exciting and the host stayed true to character the whole time. It was a great team bonding experience :)
Clever, fun, and great game master. The puzzle weren't too challenging that you were left doing a lot of puzzles on the side, but different and unique enough that you had a lot of "Ah ha!" moments. Made it fun and high energy the entire time.
Jayson was our host and he was the best. He kept the adrenaline going and was the perfect guide inside the escape room. We played with family and had a wonderful time. Two thumbs up for Villains!!
Going to do all of their puzzles, this was great!
The host is what makes this room fun. The set up, puzzles and props are nice.
I did the Villains escape room with a group of 4 friends virtually. I was astounded by how flawless and seamless the game went having gone virtual. It was super fun and the GM and team were wonderful.
Really good host and great puzzles! We have done 2 of these now and will look for more, so much fun!
The host stayed in character as our villain sidekick the whole time, making the whole experience exceptionally fun. The puzzles were fun, very logical, and made sense. For remote play, they've developed a neat inventory system to help you keep track of everything you've seen so far, and giving you the opportunity to see items up close.
As a long time customer of Fuzzy Logic, I can't say enough for their innovative designs and puzzles! From carefully crafted props to fully immersive storylines, Villain's Lair was by far the best one yet! Lot of interactive equipment, challenging yet achievable riddles and a few surprising design tactics that really draw you in to the game!
Really fun environment and awesome host! This room had very fun puzzles and all 5 of us were totally immersed in being villains! Jayson had us cracking up the whole time. Book this one for sure!!!
Wow! This was an amazing experience! I've done my fair share of escape rooms, but this was my first online escape room experience. My expectations were greatly exceeded with this escape room. The puzzles were challenging, they were unique, and the theme was immersive even though it was remote. The room is very much a great stand-alone experience, but the host was absolutely fantastic! They played his character well, and truly managed to take this escape room to the next level with his charisma and player management!
10/10, would recommend. This is a fantastic virtual escape room that deserves recognition.
While I am newer to escape rooms, this experience absolutely has me craving more. The host was very fun to control and interact with as a character, and the puzzles were very fun and exciting. The difficulty was present, but very fair.
All in all, I'm definitely interested in trying more from this creator.
This was an incredible thing to do during quarantine, very very fun! They got really creative on how to still make it fun when our group couldn't physical be there. Our eyes and hands in the room was super funny and put on a really entertaining character as we played through him. Really cool way to have a fun experience with friends during quarantine and get the gears going in your head! Only problem is now I want to do another ASAP! <3
We had a blast playing this room. Just barely finished in time. Challenging puzzles. So much fun, especially because of the great game master.
My partner and I 100% recommend this escape room. We have never played a virtual escape room before but after playing this one we would definitely do another one. The villain henchman theme was so fun. I especially liked the death ray. The host was super energetic, funny, and did a wonderful job setting the tone. The puzzles were challenging but not overly complicated. We did get hung up on a few which made it all the more satisfying when we figured them out. The room was wonderfully decorated and the virtual inventory was extremely helpful to comb the clues for details since we couldn't actually interact with the objects ourselves. Our team finished with only seconds to spare with a burst of adrenaline fueled puzzle solving as we raced the clock. Our session ended in a round of cheers and It was awesome. This room has a companion where you play the hero side. I want to try that one next.
I just played this Escape Room virtually during the Covid-19 Pandemic and WOW! The puzzles were really well made, clever, hard but not too hard. Each one solved gave me a sense of accomplishment and the host was amazing. I wish I had a villain laugh like him! WAHAHAHAHAA!!! We managed to complete the room with 29 seconds remaining! Thank you for the amazing time, I really needed this during these social distanced times.
This escape room translated rather well to an online format. It utilizes an inventory system just like a video game to reference collected items and examine clues up close independently of the actor's live location.
Jayson, the in-room actor, was very animated and comical, adding a new dimension to this version of the game! Our group had an excellent time playing and I would recommend this experience to anyone.
