Escape One Algarve — The Laboratory

I've played all of Escape One's virtual escape rooms and I have to say that this was challenging. Some pretty cool puzzles that I've never seen used before.
All in all, every room had a tweak that made it a great room for us, and our host is absolutely fantastic!
Waiting to see what they come up with next!

Great host from the start. Tough puzzles with fun twists. Probably even better live...several 'physical' clues...be sure to 'case' the room first before starting. It's easy to make it harder than it needs to be!!!

This was such a great time! I have never done an escape room before, let alone a virtual one. This did not disappoint and made for a really fun virtual bachelorette night. David was a great host and very patient with us. We will definitely recommend to others. My sister has already agreed with some of her other friends to do this for a game night and I am hoping to the same with my friends in the future. Thank you for everything!

Our host, David, was really patient and complied with our every request! If you needed the odd clue he gave suggestions but without feeling like you were being spoon fed. Great way to spend time with family and friends!

We really enjoyed playing The Laboratory - 2 adults and 1 preteen (family friendly and appropriate difficulty). The puzzles were challenging but doable. Thanks to the host who offered just the right amount of assistance toward the end, so we were successful! We would definitely do this again!

Played some online escape rooms in Belgium and Holland allready, this one was the most challenging. Nice job!

We've played several games in lockdown and this is by far the best we've done. The limitations of most online games aren't there when you've got a host, who was ace.

Yes, it's more expensive than the downloadable ones, but IT IS WORTH IT.

The best online game we've played as a group. Very immersive, brilliant host, and clever inventory system. Puzzles quite tricky, but well designed and rewarding. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed playing the virtual laboratory, the puzzles are varied and fun and despite a slow start once we got going we had a great time and managed to solve the room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something different to do in lockdown, or escape enthusiasts like us needing to scratch an itch whilst we can't play in real life!

Really enjoyed this escape room, it worked well as an avatar-led experience and the puzzles certainly made you think. Once you got the feel of the room and what was in it then it was a good case of working it all out. The host, David, was funny and kept things moving smoothly without offering too many clues or hints. Really recommended.

Would recommend for anyone wanting to do an online escape room. The intro and ending felt a little rushed to me, but maybe that was a technical problem on my end. Overall I had a lot of fun playing. The host was friendly and did what we asked.

Great experience! the game is set in a perfect lab and the puzzles are quite clever to challenge people with different skills! Thanks to David for being a great GM and looking forward to trying the next coming game Atlantis!

The old lab is full of weird and wonderful surprises. Well thought-out theme with science themed but doable puzzles. Fun gamemaster.

We always wanted to go and play Laboratory but the distance was hard for us.
Turning it virtual was the perfect opportunity to play such a fun game. Thanks to the GM David we had a great time!

We have played the Laboratory and it was our first introduction to this new style of games. At first we thought, we´re not going to make it, but after 5 minutes everything came with logic and the game is very fluid, taking you to the next clues and so on. Nevertheless it is not an easy game, it is a very smart game and David played a very good game master, being very calm and helpful! Absolutely loved this experience and defintely recommend it!

I have played The Laboratory and had a great time. The Host is really nice and the game is really challenging.

The Laboratory video escape room was lots of fun! Some puzzles were a challenge but not impossible. I was able to play with family overseas, which is a huge bonus to doing a game like this. I would definitely play like this again.

Wasn't looking forward to playing online but it was brilliant, the host was amazing, I never felt like I was helped or guided but clearly I was, highly recommended!!!

This game was amazing and I highly recommend it! great puzzles, great GM, and amazing decor, it is absolutely beautiful. Suitable for the whole family it will be an hour you won't forget.

Real fun game, with very good and clever puzzles.
It made us think a lot, but we never gave up, and David (GM) kept his role as the character very well played out.
Totally recommend.

Some really fun puzzles in this room. We played as a team with two experienced escape room players (both online and offline) and two very new players (their second ever room) and everyone got a chance to work out things and solve puzzles. Good host who lets you figure it out for yourself and doesn't jump in.
